Wizz Air, Romania`s largest and Europe’s fastest growing, most sustainable airline, announces it is re-introducing rescue fares tickets for Blue Air customers affected by the airline’s newly cancelled flights. Blue Air passengers can book Wizz Air flights on selected routes from 39.99 EUR using the booking reference of the Blue Air reservation. Bookings can be made via Wizz Air’s special rescue fare site at https://wizzair.com/en-gb#/rescue. At the same time, Wizz Air has also increased frequencies on 28 routes from Bucharest to popular European destinations and extended the Bacău-Liverpool route for 2022-2023 winter season.
Earlier this month Wizz Air has presented a major expansion in Romania, with five aircraft allocated to the base in Bucharest Otopeni Airport as well as increased capacity from Bacau, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Sibiu. New services were introduced from Bucharest to Athens, Prague and Larnaca. In total, Wizz Air added 2.7 million additional seats into the Romanian market.
