4 NEW FLIGHTS ADDED TO THE WIZZ’S WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Wizz Air, one of Europe’s fastest growing airlines and the leading low cost carrier in CEE, celebrates the announcement of two new services from Castellón to Budapest and Katowice. The new low fare routes provide countless opportunities for leisure and business travellers to plan their trip to these popular destinations with fares from just EUR 14.99/HUF 4590/PLN 59*.
Budapest attracts tourists in at least two ways – and not just because of the fact that the city is divided by the Danube River. During daytime the capital of Hungary offers a history of hundreds of years with many breath-taking attractions like the Parliament and the Great Synagogue while during the night the ruin pubs and the clubs come to life providing an ever-buzzing city atmosphere.
Laying in Southern-Poland, Katowice welcomes anyone, who would escape from the big city life for relaxing strolls in the parks or would love to see its historical buildings. The city has renewed itself in the 20th century, offering wider and wider selection of activities for all kinds of visitors.
The first WIZZ flight took off from Spain in May 2004 and since then the airline has continuously increased its network, offering now a total of 55 routes to 10 countries from 12 Spanish airports.
WIZZ, as a pioneer of low-fare air travel across Europe, is continuously expanding its network by bringing affordable travel opportunities between Spain and the rest of Europe. With more than 3.4 million seats on sale on its Spanish routes this year, WIZZ’s seat capacity has increased with 42% year on year, which further contributes to the country’s economy and stimulates the job market in aviation services and tourism sectors, by supporting over 2,500** jobs in 2019.
