Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, is cheering today for the Hungarian National Team playing its first match of the Championship against Austria in Bordeaux, France. Wizz Air is the team’s chosen airline to ensure that it gets to its matches on time and will be carrying the Hungarian players between matches in Bordeaux, Marseille and Lyon. This autumn, Wizz Air will also be flying the team to play friendly matches in the Faroe Islands and Riga.
In order to allow Hungarian fans the opportunity to watch their favorite players at the Hungarian team’s first international football competition in 30 years, Wizz Air is also operating special direct flights between Budapest and Bordeaux, Marseille and Lyon.
Wizz Air is operating two exclusive fan flights to each of the destinations, with a schedule aligned to the match timetable and are operated by an A321 aircraft with 230 seats and an A320 aircraft with 180 seats. All six flights are already fully booked which once again proves the dedication and loyalty of Hungarian supporters to the National Team.
