Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for July 2015.
In July 2015, the Company took delivery of its 63 brand new A320 from Airbus. The peak summer season also brought enhancements and changes by Wizz Air to its customer offering:
- Wizz Air upgraded its Priority Boarding service to include the option to bring a second personal item such as a handbag, camera bag, or briefcase on board in addition to the small or large cabin bag chosen during the booking process; and
- Wizz Air, already one of the few low-fare carriers to allow changes to flight reservations, simplified the change fee to only 50 percent of the original fare (no less than €10 and no more than €60) and any difference in price of the new fare.
