Wizz Air, Europe’s greenest airline* and the largest low-cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, announced today that according to the Government of Georgia’s measure reflecting on the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus it has cancelled its flights to/from Italy. This decision will be held in place until further notice of the respective Georgian authorities.
Customers who have booked directly on wizzair.com or via the airline’s mobile app will receive an email notification, in which they are offered the free rebooking or full refund or 120% refund of the original fare in airline credit. Passengers are suggested to use the airline’s self service online platform where with only a few clicks they will be able opt for any of the above options.
No need to call Wizz Air’s call centre.
