There are 3 different modes of transportation available when travelling from Vienna International Airport to the city centre. To hire the airport taxi will cost around €36 and it will take approximately 20 minutes to reach the downtown area of Vienna. Travelling by train gives you 2 options, you can either take the City Airport Train or the Schnellbahn S7. Tickets for the City Airport Train cost around €12 and the ride takes 16 minutes, whereas tickets for the public S7 cost only €3.90 and the average travel time is 25 minutes. To take the bus costs around €8 and it takes 20 minutes to arrive in the city centre.
