This compact country lies at the crossroads of Nordic and Baltic, East and West. Estonia is a modern, digital country with the best-preserved medieval Old Town in Northern Europe. It has one of the lowest population densities on the continent, so you can stretch out and have sandy beaches and wild wetlands all to yourself. Estonian nature is open 24/7 — with the right clothes, any day is a good day to get outside and breath in some of the world’s cleanest air. You might feel like the only person in the forest, but you’re never more than a few hours from Tallinn and its vibrant urban life.
Slow down and step back in time as you wander the cobblestone streets of Tallinn’s Old Town. Take in the steeples and red-tiled roofs from one of the upper Old Town lookouts.
Saaremaa, Estonia’s largest island, has world-class spas and a medieval fortress. Or take your pick from any of the smaller islands; go to Aegna and you won’t even leave Tallinn city limits!
Estonia is the first Baltic country to be included in the prestigious MICHELIN Guide. Many of the 31 restaurants in the 2022 edition focus on local, seasonal ingredients, and two of them received a coveted MICHELIN Star.

The airport is efficient and has a cosy, almost homely ambiance. It is readily accessible by taxi, bus, or car and provides ample parking, as well as several transit options available for both domestic and international travellers.

Tallinn is the capital city of Estonia, offers a distinctive experience each season, making it an all-year-round destination. The best time would be during the summer months of June to August. The days are long and the city springs alive with different festivals and outdoor activities. In this period, you can feel comfortable from 15°C to 25°C. These conditions are perfect for walking around the fairytale-like old town and its cobblestone streets. These months do, however, see the peak tourist activity, with crowding, and higher prices.
The shoulder seasons of spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) are best if you prefer the least crowded and quietest time. The weather is mild too. Winter, from November to March, turns Tallinn into a snow paradise that is great to experience the city's festive spirit and the magic of the Christmas markets in the snow. Be it the summer buzz or the serenity of winter, Tallinn is a place worth visiting anytime because of its rich history and beautiful architecture.
