Lublin Airport is an airport located 10 km to the east of the city, near Świdnik. It connects local and international travellers to several cities. This makes it the perfect connector for tourists who want to get to cities such as Letchworth, Stevenage, and Hitchin. The terminal offers free Wi-Fi, shops, cafes, and restaurants, though none of these services are available 24 hours. Ground transportation is also efficient, with Bus Line no 005 connecting the airport with Lublin and Melgiew along with car hires. Shuttle services also offer direct routes to cities such as Krasnystaw and Rzeszów, and taxis can be booked at the Arrivals Hall. In addition, train service connects the airport to Lublin's central station, which further opens up the region.

The best period to visit Lublin is from May to September, when warm weather and plenty of cultural events add to the city’s appeal. Peak tourist season is June to August when temperatures vary from 20°C and 25°C — making it the most suitable weather conditions for getting out into nature and enjoying events like the Jagiellonian Fair.
However, the late spring and early autumn months offer milder temperatures and fewer crowds, making them excellent choices for those who prefer a quieter visit. Lublin’s weather is very varied, from cold winters to warm summers, while it is beautiful all year round, this time of the year offers the best chance of nice weather and a lively atmosphere, with festivals running during the time, such as the Carnaval Sztukmistrzów and Night of Museums.
