Boarding card issues

When boarding the plane, your boarding card (the ticket that grants you access to the aircraft) is an essential item to have. Without it, you won't be permitted to board.

Boarding cards can be presented in various forms:

  • Mobile boarding cards through the Wizz Air mobile app.
  • Printed PDF versions after downloading.
  • Downloaded PDF versions.
  • Physical boarding cards received after airport check-in.

If you've made changes to your flight after checking in, you must ensure that you are checked in for the new flight and have your new boarding card.

If you have lost your boarding card, you can download it from your WIZZ Account. Simply visit, click on "CHECK-IN & BOOKINGS," and enter the confirmation code and the passenger's surname. You can access the boarding card by clicking the "Download boarding cards" button.

If you have already checked in and received a "NOT A BOARDING CARD" or "INVALID" card, there's no need to worry. Your ticket is still VALID. However, you must present this invalid boarding card at the check-in desk at the airport three hours before your flight for document verification. Getting to the check-in desk is essential to validate your travel documents.

No additional fee will be charged at the airport in this case.
