Mr Váradi was one of the founders of Wizz Air in 2003. Mr Váradi worked at Procter and Gamble for ten years between 1991 and 2001, and became Sales Director for Global Customers where he was responsible for major clients throughout 11 EU countries. He then joined Malév Hungarian Airlines, the Hungarian state airline, as Chief Commercial Officer in 2001, before serving as its Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2003. He has also held board memberships with companies such as Lufthansa Technik Budapest (Supervisory Board, 2001-2003), Mandala Airlines (Board of Commissioners, 2007-2011), JetSMART (Board of Directors 2018 – to date). In 2007, Mr Váradi won the EY Hungary “Brave Innovator” award and became the EY “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2018. Mr Váradi holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and a Master of Laws Degree from the University of London.
Mr. Eidhagen is currently the managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. He joined the company in January 2015 as the Head of Brand and Marketing and later became the Chief Marketing Officer. In November 2019, he was appointed as the Chief People Officer and took on the additional role of ESG and People Officer in June 2021. In April 2023 he became the managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Wizz Air, Mr. Eidhagen had an extensive sales and marketing career at Nokia. He held various senior global and regional marketing positions at the company, starting in 1998. He worked in different locations, including DC1-Internal Data the Nordic region, Nokia headquarters in Finland, New York, and Sweden, serving as Country Manager and Managing Director for the Scandinavian region. Mr. Eidhagen is a graduate of the IHM Business School in Stockholm, where he studied marketing.
Ms. Geoffroy is currently the Managing director of Wizz Air UK. She joined the company in March 2015 as the Head of Legal and General Counsel, In September 2018 she became a chief corporate officer and company secretary, she then appointed to become managing director of Wizz Air UK in August 2021. Prior to that, she held senior leadership roles in the Legal department of Air France-KLM from 2000 to 2011. In 2011, she became the General Counsel at Verlingue Insurance Brokers for four years. Ms. Geoffroy assumed her current position at Wizz Air in September 2018, where she oversees the Legal, Data Protection, and Health and Safety departments. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Paris XI University, a Lawyer-Linguist Master from ISIT in Paris, a law degree from Philipps University in Marburg, Germany, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from McGill University Institute of Air and Space Law in Montreal, Canada.
Mr. Goldberg joined Wizz Air in October 2018 as Chief Digital Officer, a newly created position. Mr. Goldberg is responsible for Wizz Air’s E-commerce, Data Analytics and Automation, IT Innovation and IT Infrastructure and Services functions reporting to the company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Goldberg was formerly Senior Director Technology, Europe for Nike. Prior to this role, Mr. Goldberg worked in executive IT roles at various multinational companies including G4S, APMaersk and DHL Express.
Mr. Holm is currently the Central operation officer. he joined Wizz Air in 2015 as Head of Technical Services. He is responsible for Crew Trainings, Technical Services and Group Standardizations. Mr. Holm graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany as an Engineer specialized in Aircraft Construction and Design and went on to build a successful career with Lufthansa Technik, ultimately becoming the Director of Operations for Lufthansa Technik in Shenzhen, China, from where he joined Wizz Air.
Ian Malin joined Wizz Air in 2022, bringing with him more than 22 years of finance experience. Prior to joining Wizz Air, he held various positions including Chief Commercial Officer at Unical Aviation and Chief Financial Officer at AJW Group. At AJW Group, he oversaw financial strategy, corporate development, and served as CEO of AJW Leasing. Before that, he served as a Senior Vice President at Seabury Aviation & Aerospace Asia Limited and worked in asset finance at the Allco Finance Group. Ian holds a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and a bachelor's degree from Middlebury College in Vermont.
Mr. Jones is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Wizz Air. He joined the company in September 2010 as General Counsel and has since held various positions, including Chief Corporate Officer, Managing Director of Wizz Air UK, and Development Officer. In February 2023, he was promoted to his current role, where he oversees legal, government affairs, ESG, People matters, fleet procurement, and fleet finance. Mr. Jones is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Before joining Wizz Air, he worked as a solicitor specializing in finance and regulatory matters at Wilde Sapte (now Dentons LLP). He later became a partner at the firm and spent time in their Paris, Hong Kong, and Abu Dhabi offices. Mr. Jones holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from University College London
Mr. Delehant joined Wizz Air in April 2021, becoming Executive Vice President and Group Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Delehant has a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Michigan and obtained his MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He has two decades of executive airline experience and a long track record of leadership, strategy and corporate transformation. After a long career at Southwest Airlines in the US, he joined Wizz Air from Vueling in Europe
Ms. Poós joined Wizz Air in April 2017 as Head of Marketing and moved to the role of Head of Retail and Customer Experience in April 2019. Currently, she is the Chief customer and Marketing officer since July 2020. Prior to Wizz, she built an extensive career at Procter & Gamble and strengthened the management capacity of Hungarian Telekom. Ms. Poós is a Hungarian national and holds a Master’s degree in Business, Management and Marketing from Corvinus University of Budapest.
Robert is an American and French citizen who has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University as well as a Master in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School. Robert started his career in aviation twenty years ago with America West Airlines, followed by Delta Air Lines. After Delta, Robert spent over a decade at McKinsey and Company, where he was a Partner in the airline practice. He then joined easyJet 2017, where he was most recently the Chief Commercial and Customer Officer.
Ms Avadanei joined Wizz Air as a cabin attendant in January 2009. She moved into her first office role with Wizz Air in 2013 and since then has held three senior management roles: Head of Customer Experience, Head of Digital (Ancillary) Revenue, and most recently Head of Cabin Operations. Ms Avadanei has been consistently top rated since joining the company, and under her leadership Wizz Air became the number one airline, globally, to reach highest ancillary revenue relative to total revenue during 2021. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Economic studies and Master’s Degree in Marketing and Management from the Academy of Business Studies in Bucharest, Romania. In her role as Revenue Officer Ms Avadanei is responsible for pricing and revenue management, digital (ancillary) revenue, cargo, sales, and e-commerce areas.
Ms. Moynihan joined Wizz Air in July 2022 as Corporate Officer, leading legal, regulatory and government affairs functions. Ms Moynihan is an Irish lawyer with law degrees from University College Cork and The Honourable Society of Kings Inns. She has practiced as a litigator in the Irish Courts and held roles as a researcher for the Irish Superior Courts and the European Court of Justice. Ms Moynihan pivoted into aviation and has a track record in the low cost industry, having held legal roles in Ryanair and Vueling where she held the position of General Counsel and Board Secretary
Roland Tischner joined Wizz Air in November 2011 as the Head of Human Resources. Prior to that, he held various human resource leadership roles at General Electric from 1998 to 2009. In 2009, he joined NBC Universal as a Vice President of Human Resources in the United Kingdom. Within Wizz Air, he moved on to become the Head of Cabin Operations in 2016 and then the Head of Ground Operations four years later. In June 2022, he was appointed Officer Wizz Air Hungary Operations, overseeing flight, cabin, and ground operations, crew training, airworthiness management, and safety and compliance. Mr. Tischner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from Oxford Brookes University
Veronika Jung is the current People Officer at Wizz Air. She joined the company in March 2021 as the Head of Human Resources. Prior to that, she held various human resources roles at Nicholson International and HBO between 2000 and 2011. In 2012, she joined Telenor and progressed from Human Resource Business Partner to Human Resource Regional Manager, ultimately becoming the Chief Human Resource Officer at Telenor Common Operation. Before joining Wizz Air, Ms. Jung served as the Chief Human Resource Officer of Cetin Hungary. In her current role, she is responsible for the group's human resources, recruitment, and organizational development. Ms. Jung holds an M.Sc. degree in Economics from Budapest Corvinus University.
Diarmuid Ó Conghaile joined Wizz Air as Managing Director of Wizz Air Malta on 1 November 2022. Mr Ó Conghaile has a long background in aviation, having served as Chief Executive of the Irish Aviation Regulator, 2021-2022, and with Ryanair from 2016-2021 as Chief Executive of Malta Air (Ryanair Group) and before that Director of Public Affairs. Mr Ó Conghaile was General Manager of Strategy, Pricing & Economic Regulation with Dublin Airport Authority from 2011- 2016. He holds BA Mod, MA and MLitt degrees from Trinity College Dublin in economics and a postgraduate diploma in EU competition law from Kings College London. Prior to entering the aviation sector, he worked in a number of industry and government positions, including with the European Commission and the Irish Department of Finance.
