Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe and Romania’s largest airline, today announced a new route from Cluj-Napoca to Malaga starting from 02 August 2016. The route will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with fares starting from RON 129*.
Located in the south of Spain, Malaga is ideal for culture and leisure trips. It is the birth place of Pablo Picasso as well as being a sought-after getaway destination for the year-round sun.
WIZZ currently employs almost 200 pilots and cabin crew at its Cluj-Napoca base from which it operates four aircraft, with a fifth to join the fleet in July. Carrying over one million passengers a year on its Cluj-Napoca services alone, Wizz Air’s operation supports over 750 local jobs**. With the newest services, Wizz Air now offers a total of 29 routes to 13 countries from Cluj-Napoca, including seven new routes so far for 2016 from Cluj-Napoca to Munich Memmingen, Doncaster Sheffield, Berlin Schoenefeld, Billund, Alicante, Malaga as well as the domestic route to Bucharest.
