Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for May 2016.
In May 2016, Wizz Air continued to expand its customer offering and strengthen its network with the following announcements:
- Increased capacity with additional aircraft at Bucharest and Sofia bases from December, and launching 8 new routes to/from Bulgaria (x3), Montenegro (x2), Romania (x1), Lithuania (x1) and Poland (x1).
- Expanding the network with entry into new country, Montenegro.
- Fleet increased to 68 aircraft with the delivery of another brand new A321ceo aircraft.
- Introducing the new wizzair.com website with revolutionary Express Booking function available on mobile devices and soon to be rolled out on desktop version as well.
