Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for January 2016.
In January 2016, Wizz Air continued to expand its customer offering and network with the following announcements:
- The airline announced 11 new routes in January: Romania (x3), Poland (x3), Bulgaria (x1), and Hungary (x4).
- Wizz Air also announced a doubling of flights from Budapest to Lisbon to four times a week starting in March.
- Wizz Air celebrated passing the two million mark of passengers carried through Skopje and Ohrid in Macedonia.
