Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe,today announced a new service from Bucharest to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. The service will begin on 22 May 2016, and will be operated two times per week on Wednesdays and Sundays. The new service is Wizz Air’s first low-fare route between Romania and Portugal.
With the newest service, Wizz Air currently offers 42 routes to 15 countries from Bucharest, including a domestic route between Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
One of the major economic centers of the continent today, Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, which is also one of the most visited tourist destinations, thanks to the mild climate, renowned gastronomy and rich cultural heritage.
Fares on the new route start from RON 179* and are already on sale on wizzair.com.
