Wizz Air Holdings Plc (“Wizz Air”), the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announces passenger statistics for September 2015.
In September, the Company confirmed an order with Airbus for 110 A321neo aircraft that will begin delivery in 2019 (subject to shareholder approval) as well as an agreement with CDB Leasing of China to finance six A321ceo aircraft, the first of which will join the fleet in November.
Wizz Air continues to expand its customer offering with the addition of new bases and the launch of new routes. Recent announcements include:
- Nine new routes added to the network commencing in the second half of this financial year in Romania (4) and Poland (5);
- Base expansion with a 6th new aircraft to Warsaw (Poland) in May 2016; and
- The launch of the Slovakian language version of wizzar.com, the 23rd language.
