Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced a new fare category in the airline’s offering. ‘Plus Fare’ is an additional option to Wizz Air’s ‘Basic Fare’ and introduces greater flexibility for passengers. In addition to the flight ticket, ‘Plus Fare’ includes 32kg checked-in baggage, a large cabin bag, airport check-in, WIZZ Flex for travel date changes, seat selection and priority boarding services. The ‘Plus Fare’ offers customers a discounted package price over the ‘Basic Fare’ (flight ticket only) and the sum of ancillary services if purchased separately. In order to streamline this new offering, sales of WIZZ Premium and Premium Plus products have been discontinued.
The ‘Plus Fare’ is now available on wizzair.com and will be available on the mobile applications in the coming months.
György Abrán, Chief Comercial Officer of Wizz Air, said: “I am pleased to announce our new ’Plus Fare’ as WIZZ continues to constantly improve the travel experience for its customers, providing them with more options and flexibilty to ensure they have a pleasant journey from beginning to end. We have seen a demand for additional services from our customers and we are happy to provide them with this all-in-one discounted package.”
