Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, today announced passenger statistics for the Company’s full year to March 2015.
The airline’s first months of trading in 2015 were marked by further network growth*.

József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer of Wizz Air, said: “The last 12 months have been an excellent period for Wizz Air. We saw further capacity growth with the addition of more countries and bases to our network. We carried 2.5 million more passengers than in the same period last year. We are set for further growth on the back of our continuing fleet and network expansion in 2015 to bring more low fares to more travelers in Central and Eastern Europe.”
