Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, today announced further enhancements to its low fare route network in the Netherlands. From 28 October 2014 the airline will start operating flights from Maastricht and Groningen, offering a twice weekly service to Gdansk from Groningen on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and a twice weekly service from Maastricht to Katowice on the same days.
Gdansk is one of the greenest cities in Poland and very popular in the summer thanks to its beautiful Baltic Sea coast line. Katowice is located in the south of the country and is a main business and industry hub near the historical city of Cracow.
With the latest addition to the network, Wizz Air now offers 18 routes from 3 Dutch airports growing tourism and consumer choice on very low fares and with great customer service. Tickets on Wizz Air’s newest Dutch routes are already on sale and can be booked at wizzair.com.
