4th BASED AIRCRAFT AND 2 NEW ROUTES IN 2014
Warsaw, 5 September 2013: Wizz Air today announced the 4th aircraft for its Polish base at Warsaw Chopin Airport. The new Airbus A320 aircraft will be delivered in May 2014. The new aircraft will support operations of a total of 22 routes and increase capacity to over 1.4 million seats in Warsaw in 2014. The airline’s growth boosts access to low cost air travel for the traveling public and shows that low fares lead to tourism and job creation as well as stimulate business and trade with foreign markets.
Wizz Air announced two new routes to be launched in June 2014. The services to Corfu and Heraklion will start on 21 June 2014 and will be operated once a week. The airline also added more weekly flights in 2014 to the existing services to Barcelona, Eindhoven, Gothenburg, Kutaisi, London Luton, Malmo, Milan Bergamo, Rome Fiumicino, Stockholm and Tel Aviv. Seats on the newest Warsaw routes are already on sale and can be booked on wizzair.com with fares starting from as low as PLN 159 (one way all inclusive).
