Budapest, 17 June 2013 – Wizz Air, the largest low-fare, low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, will participate in one of the most unusual and exciting Guinness world records ever, in a “strong” partnership with Zsolt ‘Popey’ Sinka, who will attempt to set a new record in “pushing the heaviest aircraft by teeth”.
On the 20th of June Zsolt ‘Popey” Sinka will try to pull one of Wizz Air’s new Airbus A320 aircraft, weighing over 50 tons, with his…teeth! Under the critical observation of the Guinness committee, and cheered by Wizz Air and Budapest Airport staff, Zsolt ‘Popey” Sinka will have to visibly move the Airbus A320 to set a new Guinness world record by biting into a rope and pulling the aircraft attached to it. Strongman Sinka has already pulled fire engines and trains to gear up for this big day. Eager to show his teeth, Sinka has received all the support of Wizz Air’s beautiful cabin crew to train his considerable muscle strength (image attached).
Wizz Air’s Daniel de Carvalho said:”Wizz Air’s customers always show great appetite for our friendly service and incredible low fares. But this is the first time one of our passengers bares his teeth to pull off a Guinness world record! Our staff is both thrilled and worried as Zsolt ‘Popey’ Sinka is getting ready to pull an Airbus A320 with over 50 tons over the tarmac. If he succeeds this is a once in a lifetime victory but if he fails this probably means some new dentures! We wish him a successful training program with our lovely crew and cross our fingers for his big pull on 20 June!”
