Tuzla, 19 April 2013: Wizz Air, the largest low-fare, low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe today announced a new route from Tuzla to Gothenburg which together with Wizz Air’s low fare routes to Basel-Mulhouse and Malmo, announced less than a month ago, grow low cost seat capacity in Bosnia-Herzegovina to over 100,000 seats a year. The airline believes this demonstrates that consumers really want access to low cost air travel and that low fares lead to tourism and job growth and stimulate business with foreign markets. The new Tuzla-Gothenburg route will start on 17 June and operate initially two times per week on Monday’s and Fridays. Responding to phenomenal demand of consumers Wizz Air has also added one weekly flight to its Malmo schedule, offering now three weekly services on this route. Bosnia-Herzegovina is now connected with incredibly low airfares to Sweden and Switzerland on three direct international Wizz Air routes.
Seats on the new Tuzla-Gothenburg route will go on sale from early afternoon today on wizzair.com and start from an incredible €29.99.

Daniel de Carvalho, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said: "Wizz Air is known to stimulate air traffic in 33 countries by offering very low fares, and clearly consumers in Bosnia-Herzegovina are as enthusiastic about our low fares as millions of Wizz Air passengers across the rest of Europe. The Bosnia and Herzegovina Directorate of Civil Aviation and the Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina have shown vision by not taxing visitors and travelers to stimulate air traffic and to benefit consumers and the economy. We believe that our strong capacity growth in Bosnia-Herzegovina can be seen as a case study of how not taxing travellers contributes to traffic and job growth, and we look forward to further invest in our low cost structure in the country.”
