Children between the age of 2 years and 14 years old inclusive are booked as children but must occupy their own seat and pay the adult fare.

Wizz Air accepts children travelling together on the condition that there is a minimum of one accompanying adult (aged 16 years or above) per 10 children.

Children under 14 can only fly if they are accompanied by an adult who is at least 16 years old who will take full responsibility for the child.

Passengers of 14 and 15 years of age may travel unaccompanied but cannot be responsible for any passenger under 14 years old.

The accompanying adult must be booked under the same reservation as the child. If the child's seat on the flight is reserved separately from the accompanying adult the two reservations must contain the same customer name and address.

Children older than 14 years can travel on Wizz Air flights on their own.

Special conditions apply for Romanian citizens under the age of 18.

In accordance with Romanian law no 248 of 2005 [regarding the regime of the free movement of the Romanian citizens abroad], Romanian citizens under the age of 18 years olds may only travel abroad if accompanied by his parents or posses the required documentation.

Wizz Air will refuse carriage of passengers who fail to present the necessary documentation.

Infants up to the age of 2 may fly for a fixed infant fee, on the accompanying adult's lap. No more than 1 infant per accompanying person is allowed. The Infant Fee may be paid online during the booking procedure or through the Call Centre. No tax and no payment handling fee will be charged in addition to the infant fee. Infants are not entitled to any baggage allowance with the exception of a pushchair (carried free of charge). Infant car seats cannot be taken on board.
