Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it would expand its operations from Poland by launching a new route from Gdansk to Bergen in Norway. The new flight will be launched on 18 December and operated twice a week initially.

From December 2009 Wizz Air will base its third Airbus A320 aircraft in Gdansk, enabling the airline to increase frequencies on existing routes and add more new destinations to its network from the city, such as the recently announced Milan Bergamo and Eindhoven.
