Wizz Air wins best airline awards

Wizz Air, the largest low cost airline based in Central and Eastern Europe continues to win the hearts and minds of its customers. During the last two weeks two prestigious awards have been given to Wizz Air in Poland, the airline’s largest base country. These awards clearly demonstrate that Wizz Air is able to deliver dynamic growth and excellent customer service at the same time.

The readers of pasazer.com – one of the leading online travel portal in Poland - have voted Wizz Air the best low cost airline in Poland for the fourth consecutive year recognizing the low fares, best network and great onboard service of the airline. 25% of the voters thought Wizz Air was the best low cost airline in Poland.

The voters of a survey carried out by a Polish research institute (TNS OBOP) have also given their preference to Wizz Air proving that the WIZZ brand continues to deliver its promise of affordable, convenient and friendly customer service. The research was conducted for the first time and Wizz Air was awarded with the Gold Standard prize.

The company currently holds 35% of the Polish LCC market and will continue to further strengthen its leadership in the course of this summer.

Wizz Air is the market leader in all of its home markets, not only in Poland but also in Hungary, Bulgaria and soon taking over leadership in Romania too. The dynamic growth is underpinned by the new aircraft deliveries in the course of this year, growing the fleet to 19 A320s by July.
