"Wizz Air has become the largest international low cost airline in Romania within less than a year since EU accession by stimulating new air traffic with low fares and the travel experience of new aircraft. The new routes to Belgium and Italy will attract even more passengers who want to travel efficiently and economically. We are especially proud to offer the Wizz experience to domestic travellers by opening the Bucharest-Cluj service. I would also note that Wizz Air’s young A320 aircraft constitute one of the most fuel efficient short haul fleet of the world giving us a distinctive competitive advantage in today’s fuel price environment."- said József Váradi, Chief Executive Officer of Wizz Air.
