WIZZ AIR ANNOUNCES TUZLA – BASEL ROUTE
SECOND LOW FARE ROUTE FROM BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA
Wizz Air, the largest low-fare, low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it will double its low fare capacity at Tuzla Airport with a new route to Basel-Mulhouse starting in 15 June. This development comes one week after low airfares became available to the people of Bosnia Herzegovina for the first time, when Wizz Air announced it will begin operating flights at Tuzla from 31 May with its first route to Malmo. The new Tuzla-Basel route comes in response to the enthusiastic reception shown by consumers in Bosnia Herzegovina who welcomed Wizz Air’s arrival by flocking to wizzair.com and booking flights at very low fares.
Seats on the new Tuzla-Basel route are already on sale and can be booked from today on wizzair.com with our launch fare starting from an incredible €27.99.
NEW TUZLA ROUTE TO BASEL-MULHOUSE:
Daniel de Carvalho, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said: "Wizz Air’s offer of very low fares is unprecedented in Bosnia Herzegovina and even more so as within a week of our entry to the market we now doubled our offer of low fare seats with a second route to Basel. Thanks to Wizz Air, the Tuzla region will benefit of exciting routes for business and tourism to Sweden and Switzerland. We are delighted to see the market in Bosnia Herzegovina stimulated by our low fares and we expect to carry over 60,000 passengers through Tuzla Airport in the first year of operations. This will help creating much needed jobs. We urge passengers to book today on wizzair.com as our lowest fares will sell out fast.”
