Excellent connections with all North German motorways mean Lübeck Airport is easy to reach by car and public transport.

By car

Simply follow the signs for "Lübeck airport" on the A1 and A20 motorways and use the exit Lübeck-Süd. If you are coming from the City of Lübeck, please follow the signs of the B207 (Lübeck-Airport).

Hamburg 60 km 30 min. A1 and A20 as far as the exit for Lübeck-Süd

Kiel 85 km 90 min.  If on the B404/ 206, join the A1 towards Hamburg in Lübeck Centre, continue to the Lübeck intersection, then take the A20 as far as the exit for Lübeck-Süd

Bus service

The bus stop for service number 6 operating Lübeck City Centre is directly in front of the terminal at the airport.

Shuttle Bus Service Hamburg-Lübeck/ Lübeck-Hamburg:

Passenger choosing to travel on the shuttle bus run by the VHHPVG, www.vhhpvg.de will be travelling in an efficient easy manner to/ from Lübeck Airport and to/from the Central Bus Station Hamburg, the bus takes only approx. 55 minutes and the fare is 8 EUR one way per person.
Operating times are coupled with the scheduled flight arrivals and departure times.
All passengers are welcome to use this service who wish to travel from Lübeck Airport to Hamburg Coach Station or vice versa.

By train

Train Station "Lübeck Flughafen'

The new train station is located in a distance of approx. 300 m from the terminal.
The train will bring you directly to the main Central Station of Lübeck from where you can easily take the train to Hamburg Central Station. You can reach Lübeck Airport from Lübeck, Lüneburg via Büchen with the trains of the DB Regio AG. In Lübeck, Büchen and Lüneburg there are connections in direction to Kiel, Puttgarden, Schwerin, Uelzen and Hamburg.

By taxi

The city of Lübeck is located in a distance of only 9 km from the Airport. A taxi may cost between 10 - 15 EUR. The driving time will be approx. 15 minutes.

Parking:

The short stay car parks P1 and P2 are located directly opposite the terminal and parking is free for the first 15 minutes.
The long stay car park P3 is located approx. 300 m from the terminal and is easy to reach on foot.
Our pricing policy is designed to offer you a reasonable and attractive parking facility, especially in comparison to the airports at Hamburg, Bremen and Hanover.
