The easiest way to reach Rome centre or the airport is to take the Terravision shuttle bus connecting the airport to Rome Termini Railway Station. It runs with high departure frequency scheduled around flight arrival and departure times. Plan ahead and BOOK NOW.

By car

Rome Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” Airport is located only 32 km from the centre of Rome and is easily reachable by car by the Rome-Fiumicino motorway. It takes 40 minutes from Rome downtown and vice versa

Bus

Rome Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” Airport is served by following Bus operators:

Terravision Shuttle : Airport – Rome Termini Rail Station. Tickets can be purchased on website or from one of the 3 Terravision boxes located in the domestic and international arrivals terminals, at Roma Fiumicino or at the Hotel Royal Santina (via Marsala 22) in Rome. Night service COTRAL (due to Train night stop) : Airport – Rome Termini Rail Station. Tickets can be purchased on board. Info and timetable at: www.cotralspa.it.

Bus / Train

LEONARDO EXPRESS: direct link Airport – Rome Termini Rail Station. Train makes no mid-journey stops and is scheduled every 30 minutes. Route time: 35 minutes Information & timetable at: www.trenitalia.com.
METROPOLITAN TRAIN FM1: FROM FIUMICINO AIRPORT FOR VARIOUS DESTINATIONS WITHIN and OUTSIDE ROME DOWNTOWN. Train makes mid-journey stops and is scheduled every 15 minutes. Route time depends on final destinations. Information & timetable at: www.trenitalia.com.

Taxi

We recommend that you only use authorised taxis (white vehicles with a taximeter) available at the arrivals areas of each terminal. ALL ROME TAXI COMPANIES have a 40,00 euro flat fare, inclusive of luggage, for a maximum of four passengers to all destinations within the Aurelian Walls (delimiting the central area of the city of Rome).

Shuttle bus options

There’s a shuttle bus service between the Long Stay car and Rome Fiumicino Airport (Arrivals and Departures Terminals A, B and C). The shuttle is a free of charge and operates every 20 minutes (24 hours service).
