Rome - Ciampino

The easiest way to reach Rome centre or the airport is to take the Terravision shuttle bus connecting the airport to Rome Termini Railway Station. It runs with high departure frequency scheduled around flight arrival and departure times. Plan ahead and BOOK NOW.

By car

Roma Ciampino airport is located on the Via Appia Nuova, 15 km from the centre of Rome. It is a short distance from the Rome city ring road (GRA) and from the main road system of the North-South and East-West motorways, and can be reached:

from Rome: Via Appia Nuova in the direction of "Castelli Romani"
from Fiumicino airport: Fiumicino/Rome motorway - GRA ring road - Via Appia - Via Appia Nuova in the direction of "Castelli Romani"
from the motorways: Exit Roma Sud - GRA ring road - Via Appia Nuova in the direction of "Castelli Romani"
from the South of the Lazio region: Via Appia Nuova in the direction of Rome

Coach

Terravision coach transfers are the easiest and cheapest way to reach the airport from Rome city centre and vice versa. Coaches depart from Ciampino airport approx. 20 minutes after flight arrival, with tickets costing €8 single and € 14 round trip. Tickets can be purchased from the Terravision booth at Ciampino airport (arrivals or departures) or at the Terra, the first Low Cost Lounge in Europe, Termini Station/Binario 1 - Via Marsala.

Bus / Train

To get to the airport from the city (and vice versa) you may take the subway + the Cotral bus (Line A, Anagnina station - Roma Ciampino airport). Bus stops are situated outside Airport Arrivals Area. Click here for more information.

Taxi

The taxi park is located opposite the Arrivals Hall . We advise you to use only authorized taxis: vehicles that have a taximeter. In addition to current standard fares, supplements for luggage and for night-time and/or public holidays trips are possible.

Parking

The 1900 parking spaces for cars and motorbikes available for arriving or departing passengers and visitors at the "G. B. Pastine" Airport at Roma Ciampino. Eight spaces located opposite the terminal are reserved for disabled drivers. For information regarding costs please click here.
